Highlights
Over the years I’ve applied to and been accepted to nine different graduate programs, some of which I’ve started and shared here. I would get a semester in, find the programs just not fulfilling and I would eventually leave. The programs were in-person formats of education thrown into an online environment. You see, I work every semester as an advisor in a very dynamic online educational environment with Babson College and the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program so I know an engaging online education is possible. A few years ago, I gave up on getting a graduate degree. The lack of quality with online options combined with soaring prices was making it infeasible for me in my 50s. That was until last summer when I read about the new online MBA program at Boston University. One more time, I applied and was accepted. I started in the Fall of 2023 with some reasonably high expectations because of my own work in this field. I have to say that BU OMBA program has delivered. Not only is it a high quality online format with amazing staff and engaged faculty, it is arguably one of the most challenging educational experiences I’ve had online or in person. And to top it off, the program comes at an extremely reasonable price. If you have any designs on an MBA, please put this program on your list of considerations.
