David Coeurjolly is a prominent figure in the field of Digital Geometry, with an impressive academic background and substantial contributions to the research community.

He completed his Ph.D. in digital geometry from Université Lumière Lyon 2 in 2002 and has since held various key positions in academia and research institutions.

Having graduated from the prestigious Ecole Normale Superieure and Université Claude Bernard in Lyon, France, David Coeurjolly's expertise spans across Digital Geometry, Computational Geometry, Point Sampling, Image Processing, and Arithmetics.

Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in several significant committees and conferences, showcasing his dedication to advancing the field of Discrete Geometry and Computer Imagery.

David Coeurjolly has been recognized for his research activities in Digital Geometry, receiving a Bronze Medal from CNRS in 2009.

Currently serving as a Senior Researcher (Directeur de Recherche) at CNRS, he leads the m2disco team at LIRIS, solidifying his leadership and expertise in the domain.

With a strong academic foundation, including a Magistère informatique from Ecole normale supérieure de Lyon and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université Lyon 2, David Coeurjolly continues to drive innovation and research in his specialized areas.
