David Danko

Director Of Bioinformatics at MetaSUB Consortium

David Danko is a Ph.D. candidate at Weill Cornell Medicine, specializing in urban microbiomes, precision medicine, and third generation sequencing. He currently serves as the Director of Bioinformatics for MetaSUB Consortium. David's research focuses on metagenomics, algorithms for third-generation sequencing, and the subclinical health effects of genetic transfer between humans and their environment. Before joining Weill Cornell, he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computational Biology at MIT and studied at the Oxford Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology.
