Highlights
Thrilled to present my friend Wade Harrison of Protective Life with the Mid Alabama Chapter Board Member of the Year recognition. Wade is in his second year on the Board, and has been instrumental supporting blood drives, making personal gifts to support the mission of the American Red Cross and influencing a generous gift from Protective. Wade is a great example of the employees at Protective who are involved all over Birmingham, and throughout their coverage area. Thanks Wade! Great to have my colleague, Carmen Beauchamp with us today. Special thank you to Eva Till Robertson & Chelle Rich for their support.
Using the Red Cross Blood Donor app, I can schedule blood donations and track where my donation is used. It’s a pretty cool feature. It seems like maybe my donation is consistently helping in one place which could mean one person is counting on me. I don’t need to know them to feel the donation is even more important. Download the app and use it today.
