Highlights
I met with Chun Chua, MBA during an SGN event in New York in 2018. Fast forward to 2021 and she had taken the bold move of relocating back home after 10 years in the US.
She is now the Head of Product for PulseSync Pte Ltd, an amazing Singaporean #healthtech company that is looking at helping the elderly age better through personalised care powered by tech. Was pretty blown away by the passion of the team and founder Ken Tan, on their inspirational journey, which was very different from my #siliconvalley's perception of how startups should "Move fast and break things".
In contrast, their growth has been measured and calculated, not beholden to VC funding and with a laser focus on their target audience, our elderly, to help them stay healthy in their twilight years. They have operations in Malaysia and Singapore and are expanding to the #US and China. They will be in #NewYork in the next few weeks, so friends who are based there, do reach out to them to explore collaborations!
