Yesterday, "A Hazy Sunday", was fun.
After celebrating my daughter’s dim sum birthday party and nearly burning down the place, I headed over to Meadow for SF Weed Week’s Seed Sunday.
It was stellar lineup featuring: Cipher Genetics, Purple City Genetics, Uncle Dad Vibes, HendRx Nursury, Ember Valley, and surprise guest appearances from Sense, Moon Made Farms, and Sonoma Hills Farms.
Upon walking in, I went head to head with JP in the "Out Bong Each Other" Arcade Booth. We loaded up the bowls with Lemon Cherry Gelato. I got smoked but the flower was tasty, win-win for everyone.
I went to soak up some sun and hung out with Emerald Valley and worked through the pheno hunt. I selected the Zafari and got notes of Blueberry and sweetness likened to an early harvest of Early Girl Dry Farmed tomatoes.
Tina popped-in and shared the effervescent 2:1 CBD: THC Sapphire Tsu from Moon Made Farms. It’s smells of fresh pine and brings on a well balanced vibe for a beautiful San Francisco Sunday. Her generosity coupled with her beautiful sun grown flower makes her one of my favorite people in our community.
The smoke of the day goes to a sesh with David Downs and Ellen Holland while catching up about Spannabis. I’ve never been but it sounds like my cup of tea. David rolled up Sense’s first batch of “Double Up” (Gastropop x Mellowz, both from Compound Genetics). A mighty smooth draw with lovely floral notes like jasmine and honeysuckle. They absolutely nailed it.
Lastly was Blue Lobster courtesy of Sonoma Hills Farms. The buds had highlights of dark blue and had me feeling a bit hazy and grateful.
What better way to kick off SF Weed Week by starting where this all comes from, the seeds and genetics.
We are fortunate to be able to hold space for the cannabis community so that we may connect, consume the finest of cannabis, and have some good old fashioned F-U-N.
