David Israel, CHA '09, is a Senior Vice President at hotelAVE, overseeing day-to-day operations and strategy to enhance the investment value of properties across different regions.

David's responsibilities include client relations, identifying acquisition opportunities, asset management, and consulting assignments.

He played a key role in expanding the firm's owned asset portfolio, establishing hotelAVE's New York presence, and creating financial investment models and benchmarking tools.

David was pivotal in forming PostScript Hospitality, providing consulting and advisory support to clients, along with operational services.

Before hotelAVE, David worked at Denihan Hospitality Group and PKF Hospitality Research, focusing on acquisitions, development, and designing tools for hotel owners.

David holds a BS from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and actively participates in the school's Dean's Council of Young Alumni and Advisory Board for the Center for Real Estate Finance.

As a respected industry expert, David lectures at his alma mater and NYU, and has been recognized in Hotel Management's 'Thirty Under 30' list for his contributions to the hotel industry.
