Did you have a textbook that looked like this? In 1986 I took my first computer programming class at Tabor College. My parents were in a tough place financially so I paid my way through college. I bought or borrowed used textbooks from upper class students. My "Oh! Pascal!" book was already falling apart when I got it, but it did the job and I fell in love with computer science. Thanks Mark Enns for selling it to me!

Today Tabor College provides textbooks to all students for all classes. It is part of Tabor's All-Inclusive Pricing to keep college affordable. No course fees, no parking permits, no class overload fees. Food, housing, books, laundry, activity passes are all included. I often hear from parents who have one child at Tabor and another at other colleges, even public universities, what a bargain Tabor is when you include all costs.

Having just gone through course registration, I was so pleased to hear several Tabor students who are paying their way through college with no debt and no financial help from family. It can be done if you are willing to get a job, work hard during summer breaks and control your discretionary spending.

Tabor spends over $300,000 each year buying books for students. If you can help buy some books for students, would you contribute to Tabor Fund at https://lnkd.in/ggdQBfq9 ? Thank you!

If life is a highway (cue Cars themesong), what road are you on? What's your destination? Who's your guide? What map are you using? Who are your traveling companions?

It was my honor to bring the first chapel of the year at Tabor College. This is what our Decidedly Christian college looks like.
