David Jones is a seasoned journalist with a rich background in the U.S. Navy. He enlisted in 1964 and underwent boot camp before attending Journalism School.

After graduating from the 10-week journalism program, David was stationed in Keflavik, Iceland, where he served as a reporter for the base newspaper 'The White Eagle' for a period of six months.

In the latter half of 1965, David took on the role of news reader at the AFRTS television station in Iceland, reaching a broad audience including Reykjavik, the capital.

Despite lacking prior experience in public speaking, David's dedication and adaptability allowed him to excel in this role, a testament to his quick-learning abilities.

His transfer in 1966 took him to Kenitra, Morocco, where he continued his journalism work as a reporter for the base newspaper and contributed to the base radio station.

This phase of his career presented unique opportunities that further honed his skills in media and communication.

David concluded his military service in 1967 and transitioned back to civilian life, undoubtedly carrying with him a wealth of experiences and expertise from his time in the Navy.
