Dear friends and colleagues, this is not the most corporate image I know, but it pretty accurately captures how I feel! After 36 years of happy emploi, and approaching my 59th birthday, I’ve decided to retire. Many of you will know me as not the most retiring fellow, so let’s rephrase that as moving into the next phase of life. Since 1985, in one guise or another, I’ve been promoting, developing, nurturing and altogether celebrating creativity in others, particularly the young. This has been marvellous, and connected me with many wonderful people and organisations. But it’s long past time to devote a bit of energy to my own creative pursuits, which I can only embrace with complete freedom - hence the bracing rock pool! I shall always be happy to chat creativity and innovation, but for now, wishing you all well. David
