Throughout his career, David held various positions, including Staff Director, Deputy Staff Director, Professional Staff Member, and Legislative Assistant at the Senate Committee on Veterans' Affairs. He also served as the Veterans Office Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator at Georgetown University Student Veterans Association, Military Fellow at Military Families United, and held several roles at the US Army, such as Logistics Security Specialist, Staff Sergeant, Weapons Team Supervisor, Sergeant, and Squad Leader.
