Highlights
Our team from Sunrise Banks had a very busy and productive day on Capitol Hill Tuesday! We met with the staffs for five Congressional members from Minnesota and South Dakota. We encouraged them to support our request to fully fund the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) and pass both the CDFI Investment Tax Credit and the Scaling Community Lenders Act. These bills will allow certified CDFI banks, like ours, to continue funding economic development and community investment projects in low to moderate-income neighborhoods. We’re grateful for their support of the CDFI Fund and hope to do more as a force for good in our community.
