A chatbot that doesn't just respond – it speaks to you! 🗣️
I'm thrilled to share this super beta AI-chatbot that's taking conversational AI to the next level. A few bits on why this is different:
✨ Natural Voice Interaction: Using Amazon Polly, the chatbot doesn't just display text – it talks back to you in a lifelike voice! (Albeit it is currently a robotic polly voice, I'll upgrade that to a generative voice in a bit!)
🧠 Powered by #Claude 3: Leveraging the latest in AI language models for intelligent, context-aware responses. (I will add an option to change LLMs when i get around to it!)
🎙️ Voice Input Ready: Speak your questions and get spoken answers – it's like having a knowledgeable assistant always at your side.
🔄 Seamless Conversation Flow: Type or talk, the choice is yours. Our chatbot adapts to your preferred communication style.
🚀 Lightning-Fast Responses: Get instant answers to your queries, all delivered in a natural-sounding voice.
🎬 Don't just take my word for it – check out this 60-second demo to see (and hear) it in action!
This technology opens up exciting possibilities for accessibility, multitasking, and more intuitive human-AI interaction.
What applications do you see for a chatbot that can converse naturally using voice? Let's discuss in the comments!

Newcastle's Sound Shirts Let Deaf Fans Feel the Roar! 🦁⚽
The club has introduced special "sound shirts" that use sensors to pick up the crowd noise and translate it into vibrations the wearer can feel.
Deaf supporters who tried the shirts said for the first time, they truly felt the electric atmosphere and could sense when key moments like goals happened. One fan described feeling "100% included" – a game-changing experience after being shut out from that pivotal part of live sports.
Newcastle is showing how innovations in accessible technology can tear down barriers and bring people together.
To help spread awareness, I made a coloring page featuring the shirt and a brief news snippet. Kids and adults alike can get creative while learning about this wonderful initiative. I've included the article summary on the page too.
