Previously, he served as an Advisory Board Member at MICRO LLC, an Advisor/Mentor at NEW INC. at New Museum of Contemporary Art, and held roles at Total Creative and as a Producer before co-founding HUSH.

I spent 55 of the 60 minutes that David Umemoto presented his work to our team in rapture: what am I doing with my life? Why aren't my hands covered in concrete too?
I spent the last 5 minutes planning how my summer is going to include mixing lots of concrete (or maybe hempcrete 🌎 ) and forming it into interesting modular shapes that I'll have to carry around for the rest of my life.
As a trained architect, now artist, he's flipped the entire concept of modular structures on its head, arriving at pieces that defy scale, through brute force materials, math and testing, rather than the slickness of grasshopper and render pipelines. Refreshing.
