David Shapiro is a multifaceted professional with a diverse background in real estate, hospitality, international business and finance. Born and raised in New York City, he attended Duke University where he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Markets & Management Studies. He also honed his skills abroad, studying International Business at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Argentinian & Latin American Studies at Universidad de Belgrano.

Shapiro has had an impressive career trajectory, serving in various capacities at a number of organizations. He founded and operated two highly successful bars and restaurants, Battery Harris and Black Flamingo, and has also developed properties, managed strategic partnerships, and brought food trucks to Russia. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found The Taim Mobile and grow its brand through Twitter.

Shapiro has also worked in finance and investment banking at Sunrise Securities and KeyBanc Capital Markets, respectively. He later headed business development at Festicket, a leading online platform for music festivals.

A globe-trotting adventurer, Shapiro has traveled to over 60 countries, learned Spanish and is interested in collaborating with creative minds, diabolical do-gooders, and elevated entrepreneurs who are driven to make a positive impact on the world.
