I remember the excitement of launching one of the country's first docked bike share systems 10 years ago. We had just gotten into City Hall, and car-loving Chicagoans were skeptical. But ridership quickly exploded, and the system continues to grow and be a central piece of the city's transportation network.

Today is an equally exciting milestone in demonstrating that shared, carbon-free transportation networks can work in any city. Last year we saw four rides a second on Lime's global network of electric bikes and scooters -- and our incredible team is doing it profitably. Enduring environmental sustainability requires us to be financially sustainable, and 2022 proved that we can hit that milestone. I'm so excited about what this team will achieve in 2023 to make cities safer, less congested and carbon-free.
