Highlights
This is a fantastic piece of investigative journalism that finally reveals who blew up the Nordstream gas pipeline, why and how. This type of story would never see the light of day in Russia or any other dictatorship or totalitarian state. It’s another illustration of why an independent, professional press is an important part of any open, democratic society where powerful people and criminals alike must remain accountable for their actions. It’ll be interesting to see if pubic opinion swings against Ukraine because of the revelations. I’m guessing not, but we’ll see.
Just wrapping up my first trip to South Africa, where I (hopefully!!) helped people in two separate workshops at The Tantalus Group client DP World boost their storytelling, writing and communications skills. It was a wonderful reminder of the rich rewards of mixing cultures and building friendships with new people. I look forward to coming back and exploring more of this dynamic and fascinating country.
