Highlights
I recently realized my extended radio silence on LinkedIn, but over the past four months, I've been fully engaged in two international moves and settling into an exciting new job. I'm thrilled to announce that I've joined the IOM - UN Migration as the Regional Knowledge Management Officer in San Josè (Costa Rica) for the Regional Office covering North, Central America, and the Caribbean.
Coming from a migrant family, this opportunity holds special significance for me, adding a personal passion layer to my professional journey. I feel a profound sense of purpose and responsibility in contributing to an organization dedicated to saving and protecting the lives of millions of vulnerable individuals.
Today marks my last day in IKEA after 2 challenging and wonderful years. Saying goodbye is never easy, especially when you've had the privilege of working with such an incredible team that I love so deeply. But as they say, sometimes our personal journey calls us to make hard decisions and explore new paths if we want to stay true to our own values.
Together with the Chatbot, Knowledge and Learning team we have achieved remarkable milestones, shared both successes and challenges living real togetherness. And we formed lasting bonds that I now proudly call Friendships.
To my coworkers and friends at IKEA, I extend my deepest gratitude for the learning, fun and experiences we've shared. Your patience, support, and trust have meant the world to me and I have always tried to be different with a meaning in my journey. I'll always bring these memories with me.
While I may be leaving, I'm thrilled "to navigate the unknown". Change is a constant in life, and I'm ready to embrace new adventures and opportunities on the horizon.
As someone you may know have said: To a Glorious future! 🙏🤲
