Aloha Friday! 🌴 ☀ I am so grateful that last week I had the opportunity to get back home to #Maui. Even with the Lahaina fires and the destruction that still exists, there is still the warmth of the people and the Aloha spirit that fills the air. What I realized is now more than ever, the world needs Aloha. It's the reciprocity of giving and receiving, whether it be in business or personal life. To have more of life, we have to give of ourselves and also be open to receive. Aloha is a way of being.
Every day I was reminded of the importance of taking a moment to enjoy the beauty around you and all that nature has to offer us for our well-being. I was fortunate to snorkel with turtles multiple times, run every day, enjoy many plate lunches and local fruit, hike, and spend time with my mom, sister and son. As a founder, it's so important to take these breaks. Of course, that meant every day I was still also working, but finding that balance and making sure I had time to enjoy the island and my family.
Aloha means more than just hello or goodbye. It encompasses love, peace, compassion, and mutual respect. It's about living in harmony with the world and those around you. Aloha teaches us to live with an open heart, to give and receive freely, and to appreciate the beauty of the present moment.
