Its worth repeating.
💥 "Our internal reality becomes our external experience"
👀 Life mirrors back to us the kind of energy we put out. How do I know this with 100% certainty? Because I have countless examples of my own energy mishaps throughout my career and personal life when I was not self-aware and present in the fearful moments. Especially when I wasn't aware of "reframing my thoughts" and when all I had to do was FLIP A SWITCH. 💡
📢 I sure wish someone had told me this when I lost my first job. I wish I had known this when I was a part of a layoff. I wish I knew this when I was early in my career as a manager and thought I had to lead by fear and managing metrics so tightly that no one listened to me. I wish I knew this the countless times I told myself I wasn't smart enough as the person next to me in the board room. I wish I knew this when the first 3 banks told me my business wasn't solid enough for their investment, until I found the one that said yes.
🙁 I have too many stories to reference of employers, co-workers, employees, clients, friends & family who all unwillingly give more energy to their fearful thoughts than not.
😎 Here's a beautiful reminder: “A belief is just a thought you keep thinking—when you choose a new thought, a shift will occur”.
🤐 The more we focus on limiting beliefs, the more limited your reality will be. This holds true for the thoughts and feelings we carry around inside, day in and day out, not just the words and actions we show to others.
😶 This is not to say that every negative thought we have will throw a wrench into our day or our lives. It's less about what arises than it is about what we FOCUS on.
⛈ It's not realistic to expect ourselves not to have negative thoughts sometimes.
➡ When they do come up though, you can replace the negative thought pattern with a positive affirmation:
❌ Fearful thought: "Trying that new idea is too risky. I might fail." ✔ Hopeful affirmation: "I enjoy challenging myself because I know I can achieve anything I set my mind on doing." ❌ Fearful thought: "My competitor is having much more success than I am. I can't make this work." ✔ Hopeful affirmation: "Opportunities for growth and success are falling into my lap on a daily basis." ❌Fearful thought: "I feel stuck. I don't know where to go from here." ✔Hopeful affirmation: "I have so many options. I give myself the space to choose which one best contributes to my success." ❌Fearful thought: "I have been out of work for months, sent hundreds of applications in and have been rejected for most" ✔Hopeful affirmation: "I know and trust that what is intended for me will not pass me by, I am going to continue to network & surround myself with positive people who see my value. I will make the right connection to the company that is waiting for me"
