De Andrea Nichols Nichols is a versatile professional with a background in social work, social entrepreneurship, design, and community engagement.

She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Social Entrepreneurship from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications Design from the same institution.

De Nichols has been associated with prestigious organizations such as Harvard University Graduate School of Design as a Loeb Fellow, Civic Creatives as the Principal of Design & Social Practice, and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as a Citizen Artist Fellow.

Her diverse experience includes roles as a Design Instructor at Washington University in St. Louis, Community Engagement Specialist at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, Co-Founder and Design Lead at Catalysts by Design, and Graphic Designer at Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri.

She has also served in positions like a Social Venture Developer; Designer at Project M Lab, Senior Account Manager at L & J Associates, LLC, and Marketing and Graphic Design Coordinator at Cultural Festivals.

De Nichols' commitment to social change and equity is evident through her past roles as a Social Innovation Fellow at StartingBloc, Education Assistant & Outreach Coordinator at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, and Social Media Intern at Greater University Service Foundation.

With a strong background in design, social practice, and community engagement, De Andrea Nichols Nichols continues to make a meaningful impact by empowering changemakers to address civic, racial, and gender equity challenges in their communities.
