Dean DelVecchio is an accomplished professional with a background in business administration and management. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University. Dean has held several significant roles, including Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer, and Chief of Operations at Guardian Life. Prior to this, he served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer, and Head of Enterprise Shared Services at the same company. He also has experience as the Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer, and Global Head of IT Services at News Corp, as well as Senior Vice President roles at Dow Jones, Chubb, and Cigna. Earlier in his career, Dean DelVecchio worked at prominent financial institutions like Citi and Merrill Lynch Avis Time Electronics.

This February, I joined PPL Corporation as its Chief Technology and Innovation Officer. After an amazing 10-year journey at Guardian, I was ready to tackle a new challenge, and what better than an opportunity to help define the future of something as central to our lives as energy.

We celebrated another great year at Guardian Life with over 1,600 colleagues at holiday parties hosted at our Bethlehem, Holmdel, Hudson Yards, Pittsfield, and Stamford offices over the last two weeks. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to the festive spirit—cheers to a remarkable year and to a fantastic 2024!
