Incandescent is hiring for a full-time Business Operations Associate, starting ASAP! This role is ideal for an early-career candidate with an entrepreneurial bent -- someone who is seeking to understand (and contribute) to how a business runs and works, from the inside out. We think of this role as an “internal consultant” -- the right candidate has a strong solutions orientation and constantly asks “why are things this way?” and “how can I make them better?” This cross-functional associate role will touch diverse aspects of firm management from finance to operations, HR, and Venture -- to name just a few of the various types of work that will live in this person’s portfolio.
We're looking for someone between 0-3 years out of college, most likely, but flexible about other profiles for the right fit. This role has proven catalytic for those looking to deepen their understanding of what it takes to run and grow a business-- past Business Operations Associates have gone on to be Strategy Consultants (internal or external), Chiefs of Staff, and startup leaders, as well as the COO of our own firm.
