Highlights

Most of the sales people I work with give more time to their prospects than they need for next steps. As you schedule your follow up meetings, why not propose tomorrow? I often see salespeople propose next week or worse two weeks out when the reality is that they can talk tomorrow or sooner than later.

The same goes for creating action plans or project timelines for the sales process -- assume things can happen quickly and let the prospect correct you.

We know that time kills all deals- so let's not give them time!

This past fall I spent some time putting together a sales training that aggregated a lot of the content that I have put together over the years in working with early stage tech startups. If you're a sales person and you're struggling (or not, but you just want to up your game) I have linked the course (for free) in the first comments. If you want to get better at lead generation, pulling through Enterprise deals, using LinkedIn to engage prospects, resurrect stale deals, have a look and let me know what you think.

Happy learning!
