Debarshi Nandy is the Barbara and Richard M. Rosenberg Professor of Global Finance at Brandeis University's International Business School, specializing in predictive analytics and research areas like Entrepreneurial finance, innovation, Corporate finance, and Banking & Financial Institutions.

With a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Finance from Boston College, Debarshi Nandy also holds a Master of Science (MS) in Economics from the University of Calcutta and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.

His educational journey began at St. Xavier's School, Kolkata, where he completed his High School Diploma.

Throughout his career, he has held various prestigious roles including Program Director of Master of Science in Finance (MSF) and Director of the India Initiative at Brandeis International Business School.

Debarshi Nandy has also been associated with organizations such as Cleanfield Capital as a Co-Founder, and has served as a Visiting Associate Professor at MIT Sloan School of Management as well as an Associate Professor of Finance at Brandeis International Business School.

His extensive experience also includes positions as an Assistant Professor at Brandeis International Business School and Schulich School of Business, York University.

Debarshi Nandy's research interests lie in Entrepreneurial finance, innovation, Corporate finance, and Banking & Financial Institutions using Census micro-data, enhancing his reputation as a distinguished expert in the field.
