You think so, #AI??🙄
This is why, as a professional in the #recruiting industry, I am not scared about being replaced by #ArtificialIntelligence. Sometimes, there is no substitute for the real thing.
And, for the record, Glassdoor, I am actually pretty sure NO ONE wants me driving an 18-wheeler around. Ever... 🚚 🚛
Be thoughtful in your applications of automation and AI when it comes to creating more efficient business processes. Every email that is sent out with your brand attached is an indication of your potential value to the recipient.
Is it Innovation or Theft? 🤔
The space between the two seems to be narrowing in the employment space. Personally, I applaud one's ability to use technology to create short-cuts and to optimize productivity. But, to use tech (like mouse-jigglers) to SIMULATE productivity. Well, that just seems pretty shady to me. 😕
"The cat-and-mouse game - no pun intended - has spurred a wider debate in corporate America about whether screentime and the click-clacking of keyboards are effective yardsticks to measure productivity amid a boom in remote work." Physical presence certainly does NOT always dictate one's efficiency or outcome.
And, if workers find ways to automate 30% of their allocated responsibilities, do they have the right to take that additional time off, considering the WORK for which that person is responsible IS technically getting done... and done well? Is this person a genius or a criminal?
What do we think, folks? Is the fact that a dozen Wells Fargo employees were fired for fraudulently simulating work activity an indication of a greater productivity and commitment issue?
I mean, there is clearly enough of a demand to PRETEND to be working that sales have increased 400% since the devices began trending in the remote worker world. So, what is motivating the performance fraud we are seeing in our workforce today? Thoughts?
