Debra Cleaver is a prominent figure who has been deeply involved in the realms of technology and democracy since 2004.

Throughout her career, she has initiated several organizations and spearheaded innovative voter registration and turnout strategies.

Debra has a distinct talent for voter registration, driven by a strong dislike for the process which she views as a form of voter suppression, particularly in contrast to other democracies where the government handles the registration.

Known for her intelligence, charisma, and keen insights, Debra has ambitious plans to register millions of voters, eliminate voter registration deadlines through Same Day Registration advocacy, and enhance the representation in the House to effectively diminish the role of the Electoral College.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pomona College, as well as studies at Y Combinator, the School for International Training, and Stuyvesant High School.

Debra Cleaver has held various roles in different organizations, including being a Member at Chief, Founder and CEO at VoteAmerica Action Fund, VoteAmerica, and ElectionDay.org.

She also founded and led organizations like Vote.org and Long Distance Voter, and has held positions at Change.org, TrueCar.com, MySpace.com, the Civilian Complaint Review Board, and Swing the State.
