Today we had the privilege of celebrating the 300th installation of San Diego Zoo Kids at Texas Children's Hospital. Our videographer, Kevin Breen, and I were so fortunate to spend time with Avery, the star of our event video. Avery is special in so many ways, from her love of animals to her fighting spirit. And she loves paddlefish! It is humbling to see how San Diego Zoo Kids channel brings healing, happiness, and hope to millions of ill and injured children around the world.
