Excited to share my findings from the #ETHGlobal online hack! The workshops so far have been focused on rollups, highlighting the attention this space is receiving from development teams. Here are some key takeaways from the past few days:

  • BuidlGuidl: A. Griffith is so charismatic and has an infectious positive energy, although I knew about scaffold-eth, I was keen to see him at work. https://claude.ai/ was a nice discovery for me during his workshop.
  • Kinto: I am fascinated about the solutions to making KYC shareable on chain and Kinto seems to allow for the rollup space to only do this once as an entity instead of going through the process on each chain/app/entity. There is more for me to understand and dig into with Kinto. Victor seems to be an amazing point of contact and representative for the startup.
  • AvailDA: to me the DA space is just so promising in terms of helping onboard tradfi and making customer applications viable across the globe, allowing for a suite of tools never seen before. Celestia is the big player in the space, that I know, but AvailDA tools are interesting to investigate, I'm playing with a few concepts just to make sure that I understand them. DefiLlama has "only" 30+ rollups https://lnkd.in/dhtYg4qi
  • Mina Protocol: the workshop had a few golden nuggets for new developers in the space such as the https://lnkd.in/dBYyU4_d open sourced by the protocol and the https://lnkd.in/dxy4WcT5 package to use with the protocol on web apps. Mina does not seem to me to be on ETH yet as their L1 is on the market since 2017 using ZK Proofs, but their technology looks interesting to study in order to further my understanding of the rollup space.
  • Stay tuned for the SSV network workshop today. Missed sessions? They're available on YouTube!

Also, outside the hackathon:

  • Lisk's move to optimism with the Oku DEX has caught my attention. More details at https://lnkd.in/drzMuEmM and https://lnkd.in/dvjEKb44

Looking forward to diving deeper into these exciting developments! #ETHOnline2024 #Blockchain #hackathon
