Highlights
After several amazing years, I have stepped down from my position as Chief Product Officer at ITV. It’s been a privilege to work on the ITVX product. It takes a village to launch a big consumer product like this. I want to thank all the amazing teams across product, design, technology, content, marketing, data, customer & viewer services and distribution for their tremendous work over the last 2.5 years. But I am especially grateful to my product team and my product Directors Steve Forde, Lee Marshall, Dora Giannioti and Laura Jenner without whom I could not have succeeded. For my next role, I am stepping into both a new challenge and a familiar team and company. I spent 10 of my most productive career years at CNBC. I’m so excited to be returning to CNBC to lead the international business as President and Managing Director of CNBC International. I love the people, the mission and the brand. What a time to be returning on the 35th anniversary of CNBC! I will transition out of ITV over the next several months and join CNBC International in August.
Last night ITVX won another award at the European Video Awards as the Best CTV App Innovation in a tough competition with PlutoTV and SamsungTV, two very worthy nominees. A huge congrats to everyone at ITV who has worked so hard over the last year and a half to make ITVX a success. It really takes a village to launch a successful media product. A special shout out to Craig Morris, Steve Forde, Lee Marshall, Thomas Thomas, Dora Giannioti, Ross Appleton, Trudy Sharam, Luke Holder, Mark Ison and Paul Kane who had the not too shabby job of attending the ceremony and accepting the award on behalf of ITV. https://lnkd.in/euk5cnNF
