Deepak Krishnamurthy
Deepak Krishnamurthy is a former Executive Vice-President and Chief Strategy Officer at SAP, where he played a significant role in shaping the company's global strategy and driving its growth.12 During his tenure at SAP, which lasted about a decade, Krishnamurthy:
- Led SAP's global corporate and innovation strategy
- Oversaw the Customer and Market Insights function
- Headed the Corporate Innovation Group, focusing on ecosystem-led innovation in Fintech and Healthcare tech
- Led SAP's inclusive entrepreneurship initiative – SAP.iO No Boundaries
Under his leadership, SAP experienced substantial growth, with a nearly 3X increase in top line, a 4X increase in market cap, and over $100 billion in incremental shareholder value.3
Krishnamurthy also launched SAP's early-stage venture arm, SAP.iO, which made over 30 investments in fast-growth startups.3 He was involved in building SAP's cloud strategy and driving several large cloud M&A transactions.2

As of March 2025, Krishnamurthy is no longer with SAP. He is now the founder and managing partner of Gaia Equity, a firm investing in enterprise software, climate tech, and healthcare.3
