It was wonderful to join my fellow panelists Tommy Teo, Roxanne Davies, Edoardo Collevecchio and Sam Robinson at the Asian Venture Capital Journal (AVCJ) Singapore Forum earlier this week, to talk about the approaches and intricacies of family office investment into private markets.

Every FO is unique in how it prioritizes its objectives - risk-weighted returns, liquidity, capital preservation, impact, reputation protection and succession planning. Hope the session gave fund managers and service providers a deeper insight into how we go about capital allocation and our expectations of outcomes.

Nice to see the suggestions from Confederation of Indian Industry on improving corporate governance processes in startups. If implemented, this will go a long way in boosting investor confidence in this growing asset class.
