She specializes in tenant's rights, racial equity, disability rights, policy advocacy, and impact litigation, leveraging her expertise in these areas to effect positive change in society.

Deepika's educational journey includes earning a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the prestigious University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, as well as a Bachelor's Degree from the same institution.

Throughout her career, Deepika has held key roles such as the Director of Housing Policy & Tenant Protections at the Office of Councilmember Nithya Raman and as the Director Of Legal Services at Mental Health Advocacy Services.

Her experience spans across various organizations including being an Attorney for EEO/Title IX at University of California, Los Angeles, a Lecturer in Law at USC Gould School of Law, and a Senior Staff Attorney at Public Counsel.
