Hi friends -
I've been answering many "what are you up to" questions these last couple of months and am excited to share news about some of where I've been.
My friend and colleague Scott Gauvin is launching a new program titled "The Respect for People Roadmap." I've been learning alongside Scott and a handful of others as we support him in his launch. You can also learn more by joining Scott for a free webinar about the Roadmap on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Sign up here: https://lnkd.in/gN3x3zJS
Why does this matter now? Press Ganey recently posted their annual report on Employee Engagement within healthcare organizations. The good news: engagement modestly improved in 2023. The challenge: turnover at the leadership and nurses need "immediate intervention," and "feeling respected at work is the #1 driver of employee engagement." Startingly, one in four healthcare employees does not feel that their organizations show them respect.
Has there been a more urgent time to dig into RESPECT?
My client, the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown, is looking for its next leader. Please share the opportunity with your network - and give it a look yourself! It's a great chance to work with a dedicated team making a difference every day for 100s of animals; and people, too!
