Delphine also leads the Whistleblower Protection Program across 10 countries.

As the North America Director of Reporters Without Borders, the largest press freedom organization globally, she has built extensive coalitions with hundreds of media and human rights organizations. Delphine is known for her innovative communication strategies that drive revenue growth, influence public policy, and secure the release of detained reporters.

Delphine Halgand-Mishra boasts a remarkable personal network comprising influential journalists, media executives, Internet company leaders, human rights activists, and government officials worldwide.

She is a respected guest lecturer at prestigious institutions such as Stanford, Harvard, Yale, UCLA, and Georgetown University, where she imparts knowledge on global communications, information access, and press freedom issues. Delphine frequently appears on television networks like CNN, Fox News, BBC, and is a public speaker at the UN and US Congress.

Her contributions to journalism have earned her accolades such as the James W. Foley American Hostage Freedom Award and multiple US National Press Club awards for her advocacy on press freedom and support for American journalists in captivity.

Delphine Halgand-Mishra holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Sciences Po and completed her Baccalauréat - Abitur at Lycée Alfred Kastler Guebwiller. She has held various roles in prominent organizations including The Signals Network, Shuttleworth Foundation, Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI), and multiple positions at Reporters Without Borders (RSF). Delphine also served in different journalistic capacities at Le Monde, E24 France, 20 Minutes, Management - Prisma Presse, L'Express, Les Echos, Courrier international, La Croix, and as a Press Attaché at the French Embassy.
