Under her guidance, she successfully designed and launched the groundbreaking Inclusive Innovation Initiative. Currently, Demetria serves as the Senior Director for Social Innovation at the Jamii Group, where she spearheads initiatives to drive cross-sector business development, innovation, and social impact. A self-described data and policy enthusiast, she oversees all aspects of research development, strategic alliances, and social impact metrics for a diverse array of national clients.
Beyond her work at Jamii Group, Demetria is the visionary founder and president of UrbanCycle, a social impact real estate incubator designed to address urban development barriers in her hometown, Chicago. Through UrbanCycle, she empowers social entrepreneurs and innovators by connecting them with social impact real estate developers and facilitating partnerships that result in sustainable, equitable projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life in underserved communities.
Demetria is also pioneering a movement known as Metropolitan Vision (MetViz), which seeks to redefine urban development in the 21st century and proactively combat gentrification.

Demetria Gallagher's educational background is both impressive and extensive. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development & Investment from Harvard University and a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact Investing and Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Oxford's Said Business School. Further, she earned her Master's degree in Sustainable Urban Planning from The George Washington University, rounded off with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
