Highlights
So today it's been a year since I got on a plane and emigrated. In many beginnings, the first year is usually the hardest, and if you get through it, the next year will be easier. Yes, it's been a difficult year. Yes, emigration is very stressful, even if it's prepared (like ours). Even for me - with enough stress tolerance after 10 years of small business in RF - this experience is proving to be a highly stressful.
However, we completed this year, and at the end it turned out that we had achieved all the main tasks: we found a remote job, got a residence permit, and began to integrate gradually into the local life. The main point is that the most important thing is to guess the country. We feel great in Argentina, despite all the local Latin American jokes and details.
As for my activities, it goes like this: I work online at a production center as an executive producer, so if anyone has any questions about online schools, courses, or anything like that, feel free to ask for advice or help. At the same time, I'm launching a bit of online tutorials from "Klasstrueda" - I'm also supporting this project as a personal hobby and reframing it from an offline workshop to a DIY blog with online education. I also sometimes consult masters or DIY workshops and share my experience of development and promotion. There is a lot of work and a lot of potential.
The upcoming holidays. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone and thank you for your support.
People in any part of the world are similar - show them something interesting and engaging, teach them how to do something by their hands and there is awesome action all around. We took part in the local Cordoba Design Festival at the Cofactory space and gave a workshop - we made wooden robots from scraps and unnecessary wood. As always at our activities there were a lot of adults and kids, I can't keep an eye on them all. Good thing I had great assistants from the CoFactory team to help with translation and extra hands. When @KlassTrueDA first started we actively participated in all major city festivals - GeekPicnic, VKFest, Stereoleto and many others. Times are different, others are gone, and we moved away - although it is symbolic that two invitations to participate in St. Petersburg events arrived in the same week. How interesting is the connection between times, space, ideas, and acts. #design #events #team #robots #workshops #diy
