Highlights
🙋🏻♀️ Earlier in my career, I often wished for more support from people who truly understood the unique challenges I faced as an Asian woman. I wanted guidance that was tailored to my experiences and could help me grow as a leader aligned to my culture and identity. But back then, career coaching was not widely accessible to junior employees. It’s why I am passionate now about creating a career coaching forum for Asian women — a safe and inclusive space where more Asian women at all levels can access the support and advice they need to thrive.
As part of AWE Network | Asian Women Empowerment Network, I’m happy to share that I will be hosting a FREE Career Coaching AMA workshop on Saturday, Aug 31, 9.30 am - 10.30 am PT for Asian women. I will be joined by our AWE Network volunteer member Caitlin Chou who will facilitate the AMA. 👉 Register and save your spot by Aug 28: https://bit.ly/4dJ8FjP

Energized to have the opportunity to attend the inaugural Asian Women in Tech conference organized by the SASE - Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers in collaboration with Asian Women Coaching Collective and Cisco's CAAN (Connected Asian Affinity Network)! It was so powerful to have a space where Asian women can come together as a community to have honest conversations about the unique challenges we face and walk away with strategies and advice to grow and break the bamboo ceiling. The speakers and allies at the conference are all role models in the AAPI community who continue to inspire us with their passion and contribution: Minjae Ormes, Mo Fong, Paraag Maddiwar, Li-Ming Pu, Hope Yanling Yin, Jennifer Yokoyama, Caroline Kim, Nancy Cam-Winget, Thuan Green, Carlo Dela Fuente, Khánh Vũ
Also grateful for the opportunity to meet and catch up with many Googlers and alumni, and friends from many tech companies in the Bay Area: Julie Huang, PhD, Nikhila Pothukuchi, Dorene Seah, Erica L., Caroline H., Lily Z., Monalisa Chati, Sophie Chen, Jessica Xu, Victoria Cheng, Margaret Tsai Shen, Lehmann Koo, Peilin Guo, Sheila Bernus Dowd, Uchi Kandamby, Diane Lee, Lona Zhai, MBA, Yeelo Ng, Shreya Mohan, Tiffany Sun, Neha Jethani, Amy Tat, Madhuri Gudiseva, Micaela B.
