See my previous post to learn more about Paul and his losing battle with cancer that will likely negatively end in ~12 weeks 😢
Please consider donating to this new GoFundMe so I can share my experiences and love for Apple Vision Pro with Paul so that he can virtually visit the locations he's never been to (Tokoyo), and connect and share experiences with friends from around the world like never before.
Below is a story about me, my passion for VR/AR experiences, and how Apple Vision Pro can help give Paul the best virtual connections to places and people he will NEVER see again.
Thanks for reading and contributing to my GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/1e7dbc29
Storytime: I've been a VR/AR enthusiast for many years (both as a consumer and as a designer of apps and experiences) as you can see from the picture of all my headsets (from amazing companies like Magic Leap, Meta, Microsoft, Google, ZapBox, Apple to name a few).
I've had the Apple Vision Pro from day one and have been quiet on social media to share how AMAZING it is.
Yes, the games on Meta Quest 3 are WAY better. But the Apple Vision Pro is hands down the best movie viewing experience EVER, both compared to in-person and other VR/AR headsets. Check out Avatar: The Way of Water in 3D on Disney+ Hotstar app. Not only is it WAY better than anything I've experienced both in-person at theatres (yes even better than IMAX) or other headsets, but The Walt Disney Company did an AMAZING job creating their immersive experiences (look up to check out an easter egg when you first watch a move in the theater 🎆)
Is Apple Vison Pro perfect, no. Should you get it NOW if you aren't an enthusiast like me, maybe? But I can honestly say that Apple Vision Pro is the best movie-viewing experience and productivity headset on the market today, and they are on the BRINK of something AMAZING!!
I look forward to sharing my POV experiences using the Apple Vison Pro as well as others made by Meta, Microsoft, Google, ZapBox, and DJI and hopefully sharing it with Paul as well before he passes.
Thanks for reading this LONG message and PLEASE consider donating so I can make my dream a reality with Paul tomorrow before it's too late.
Should Apple come through and donate any or all of the items requested 🙏, we also need to ship ALL his art from across the USA back home to him so that he can see it one last time, share it with friends during his "Funeral Party" (he named it) on May 5th, and hopefully sell it without the overhead of gallery commissions to maximize the funds he gets to spend. Tesla, UPS, FedEx, Enterprise, Avis Budget Group, Penske Logistics, or ANY other companies, can you please lend a hand? 🙏
