Hi everyone, know anybody with a strong hardware design background who's interested in joining a startup with an impactful mission? I'm hiring for a Hardware Design Manager to join our team of talented engineers to help own and lead product development efforts. Please take a look and share with your network!
I don't post much on social media/professional media but I wanted to share the profound experience I've had since working with my coach and mentor, Kishore Bubna. I highly recommend those who are growing in a technical leadership role to consider working with Kishore as a mentor and a coach: https://lnkd.in/gJnfvYXF
Those who have made similar a professional progression that I have will understand the challenges that come with managing and leading a technical team. As a technical IC, my core responsibility was to solve technical challenges which, through first principles reasoning, can be defined in such a way to help inform an appropriate solution. More often than not there are tangible solutions to these problems but humans are complex and nuanced which presents uniquely different challenges, much of which Kishore helped me to develop the skills to reconcile.
I was introduced to several different coaches during this transition and the person that resonated the most with me was Kishore. Kishore established a genuine human connection which was authentic and natural - a real important factor considering that vulnerability forms the basis for someone to grow and recognize their own strengths and limitations.
I've worked closely with Kishore on many different areas ranging from the practical (navigating conflict, managing upwards/downwards) to the "mushy" stuff of my own personal challenges as a person, though, it's important to recognize that they're not mutually exclusive.
I would highly recommend Kishore to those who are looking to challenge themselves personally and get uncomfortable so that they can grow and develop as an a leader. Please reach out if you'd like to hear more of my experience and I'll be more than happy to share more of my story of working with Kishore!
