Derek's educational background includes a PhD in Microbiology and Infectious Disease from George Mason University, a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University, and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.

He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from York College of Pennsylvania and completed Honors / AP Courses at Schuylkill Valley High School.

Throughout his career, Derek Anderson has held various roles in prestigious organizations such as Prince George's Community College, Howard Community College, Georgetown University Biomedical Graduate Education, Personal Genome Diagnostics, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

His professional experience ranges from being an Associate Professor to roles as a Senior Adjunct Faculty, Genomic Technologist, Technical Specialist, and Molecular Diagnostics Technologist.

In addition, Derek has contributed to organizations like ALS Environmental and York College of Pennsylvania in various laboratory and technician roles.
