Dermot O'Gorman is the CEO of WWF-Australia with a deep passion for safeguarding the Earth's natural environment. He holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from IMD, a Master of Science in Environmental Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Science from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Diploma in Environmental Science from Southern Cross University.

Throughout his career, Dermot has held various key positions within the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) organization, including Chair of the Global WWF Conservation Committee, CEO of WWF China, Deputy Director for Asia Pacific Region, Regional Representative for the South Pacific Programme, and more. He was also involved in roles such as Chairman of WWF Asia Pacific CEO Growth Group, Head of Government and Aid Agency (GAA) Partnerships in the International Programme, Corporate Planning Officer in the Office of the CEO, and Government & Aid Agency (GAA) Executive in the International Programme, all with WWF in the United Kingdom.
