Last week the 3rd cohort completed the prestigious Chief Digital Officer program at Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy and graduated with distinction. Over the last six months, I had the honor to coach one of the teams as they took a lot of what they were learning in the modules and we applied it to building a digital strategy for a $20B mining firm. Our journey lead us through understanding digital maturity, customer journey mapping and personas, to how we could use AI to unlock trapped value in the company's operations with a strong focus on how we will drive the change through the firm and ensure that it shows up on the P&L.

Last week all the teams presented their final digital transformation pitch to the board - of which I was happy to be a part. The storytelling that the teams bought to their presentations made me proud of their hard work over the last six months. Congratulations to the entire cohort and of course, a special shout out to my team: Russell Rogers, Varun Duggal, Anupam Verma, Rick Wingender and Gerald Byrd.

Kuddos to Ari Lightman, David Ulicne, Emily Brown and thanks to my fellow coaches: Mark Yolton, Jason Pausman, Sameer Badlani, MD, FACP.

Look forward to the next cohort in the Fall of 2024. If you or anyone in your network is looking for a boost to help bring your digital leadership to the next level, give this program a close look: https://lnkd.in/eW-fwWDR

I highly recommend it.
