Devin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Global Business from California State University-Sacramento. He also studied Business Administration, Small Business Management, Entrepreneurship, and Managing for Sustainability at California State University-Chico.
Devin has an impressive track record within various organizations. He served as the Government Affairs Manager at Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and held board positions at Fundación Chile Lagos Limpios. Devin's political experience includes being the former Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem of the City of South Lake Tahoe, as well as a City Council Member. He has also been actively involved in sustainability initiatives as a Sustainability Program Manager and Senior Planner at the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency.
Furthermore, Devin has contributed significantly to the community through his roles as the Executive Director and Board Chair at Tahoe Regional Young Professionals, where he focused on fostering the growth of young professionals in the region. His expertise in environmental education shone through during his tenure as an Environmental Education Specialist at the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, and as an Outreach Specialist at the Tahoe Resource Conservation District. He has also shared his knowledge as a consultant at Sustainability Management Consulting.

In October, I took the TEDxSouthLakeTahoe stage at Lake Tahoe Community College.
In my talk, I explore the topic of destination stewardship. I highlight a few examples of how Tahoe is making the recreation experience available to all. I also explore how Tahoe can build a tourism economy that gives back.
Destination Stewardship is an emerging topic in destination communities across the globe. Tahoe is poised to be a global leader on this topic while creating a sustainable future for the region.
