Highlights

I want to highlight three alumni companies we had the pleasure of showcasing last night at Creative Destruction Lab's Alumni showcase.

  1. Botminds AI- unified AI platform to automate, analyze and build co-pilots for unstructured data. This is a competitive space, but I was impressed by the experience of the team of ML scientists who've already secured many notable enterprise sales (with recurring AR).

  2. Movmint - building the world's first deployed CBDC (central bank digital currency). They are already live in Bahamas, and well positioned to enter EU when they introduce CBDC as early as next year.

  3. WaveWorks Technologies - reimagining wireless connectivity through their hardware platform that reflects existing energy as opposed to actively emitting energy. They allow you to stream wireless data without draining batteries.

Last but not least, it was a special kind of sweetness seeing my bestfriend and ex-CDL coworker Sithu Ranamukhaarachchi present for Sixone Labs. Her passion to enable efficient circular economy in the textile industry inspires me. How so? You'll have to ask her about how their proprietary AI model can differentiate the various makeups in textile to selectively recover PET.

Here's to all the founders building in the space. These companies are all currently raising and I'm excited to see more of their progress.
