Dianna Kane

Dianna Kane is a seasoned leader in human-centered design with 20 years of experience in product and service design for social impact. She has worked extensively in Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, Latin America, and the United States. For seven years, Dianna led the design practice at Medic, a renowned non-profit, during a period of rapid growth. She is a respected pioneer and thought leader in the field, contributing to the development of design practices within social impact and global health communities. Dianna has a strong educational background, holding an MPhil in HIV/AIDS & Society from the University of Cape Town and a B.A. in Urban Studies from Fordham University. She has also been associated with various organizations, including Firsthand, Fieldwise Consulting, The Curious Company, Skoll Foundation, University of San Francisco, Alameda County, Kumbu, Stanford University, HealthRight International, MobileMed Apps, LLC, Berkeley Food & Housing Project, Clinton Foundation, Philani Nutrition Centre, CHOSA: Children of South Africa, and CIEE.
