Dicky Hindarto is a professional with a robust background in physics and energy engineering, boasting extensive national and international experiences in the energy and climate change sectors. His expertise encompasses climate change negotiation, carbon trading, renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy policies, and energy management. With a wealth of experience across government institutions, inter-country collaborations, private enterprises, and NGOs, Dicky currently serves as an Advisor for the Indonesia Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) implementation, previously holding the position of Head of the Indonesia JCM Secretariat. His role involves overseeing administrative and technical aspects of Indonesia's collaboration with Japan on green investment and low carbon development, elevating Indonesia's standing as a global leader in JCM implementation. Dicky has also fulfilled roles such as Coordinator of the Carbon Trade Division and Lead Negotiator for Indonesia at the UNFCCC, fostering partnerships with diverse stakeholders ranging from ministries and businesses to NGOs and international organizations. Engaged in various professional associations like the Indonesia Renewable Energy Association and the Green Building Council Indonesia, Dicky is well-versed in climate change issues, policies, negotiations, carbon market operations, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and policy formulation, further reinforced by his training as a climate leader under Al Gore.
