What an honor to have co-led the design and delivery of a conference that elevated conversation around critical topics relevant to the Black business community, ranging from alternative investments (PE, VC, Art, Digital Assets), bridging the wealth gap, health equity, political engagement, film and music industry, entrepreneurship, c-suite and board leadership, connecting the Black diaspora, love and ambition, and so much more. This is on top of the incredible keynotes delivered by Ava Duvernay, Andre Iguodala, and Mielle Co-founders Monique & Melvin Rodriguez.

My deepest gratitude to all of the speakers who answered our emails and decided to join us, the sponsors who saw it fit to support this work, and the village of people who came together to bring the 51st annual H. Naylor Fitzhugh Conference to life.

A personal highlight was sitting in conversation with Damien Hooper-Campbell, Tynesia Boyea-Robinson, and Kurt Summers exploring the private sector’s role in advancing the public good. A wealth of wisdom was shared about investing in infrastructure, advancing racial equity, and weathering the anti-ESG and anti-DEI pushback we have been witnessing.

Truly a highlight of my three-year journey as a joint degree student at Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School.
