We've got 1 day left to raise $1 mil! https://lnkd.in/gcXT-qT9

After a hard few months of campaigning, we've raised over 870k, and have brought in 463 new shareholders to the company. Thank you to all of our investors who have put their faith in us, as well as all of our supporters who have helped make this possible: Equitise, Tractor Ventures, UTS Startups, Blue Impact , Fishburners, Startup&Angels, ausbiz and the amazing friends, family and customers who have gotten behind us!

This team has done an amazing job in communicating our value to the broader public. We believe the indoor gardening space is just starting to form, and the international competition has missed the market opportunity in the holistic gardening experience - choosing to focus primarily on herbs and leafy greens, and ignoring the fact that people garden as a hobby and want to grow a diverse range of plants. At UPG we see this broader category and already provide a range of solutions to help people grow their favourite plants.

Over the time we've been raising, critical issues such as food security and climate change have been brought to the public conscious through $10 heads of lettuce and droughts in Europe and western USA. Our product isn't necessarily a replacement for the larger food system, but hydroponic products which use 90% less water than conventional agriculture and grow at the point of consumption can supplement it.

Most of the money invested will go into product development. We've been selling our kits for 4 years now and know what customers, want down to a tee - we're ready to build the next generation of products in existing categories, as well as creating new products that will open up new categories altogether (tomato/vegetable kits, aquaponic kits, furniture integrated products etc.).

Help us build a greener tomorrow and get behind our equity crowdfund through the link above!
