My first historic tiny house project received its Certificate of Occupancy last Thursday! I am deeply grateful to be the initial gift to transform an 1830s kitchen outbuilding into a tiny guest house. The Old President's House is now the residence of Douglas Hicks, gifted leader and Dean of Oxford College of Emory University. I am indebted to the TULL CHARITABLE FOUNDATION, INC. for the gift in my honor to aid in the adaptive reuse of this historic structure. Thanks also to friends Kevin Smyrl who introduced me to the project and to all the alumni who taught me to love Oxford College the way they do.
